Logo Animation
Project Type: Academic project
Scope: 2D Animation, brand identity
Overview: This project explored motion as an extension of my personal brand identity through a short animated logo sequence.
Challenge: Translating a static visual identity into motion while maintaining consistency in style, rhythm, and brand recognition.
Solution: Using After Effects, I animated geometric forms with a focus on timing, pacing, and smooth transitions. I aligned motion choices with my brand typography and color palette to ensure consistency. The final animation reinforces the brand through movement while maintaining visual cohesion.
Cinematic Winter Poem
Project Type: Academic project
Scope: Cinematography, video editing, storytelling, audio integration
Overview: This project explores motion design as a tool for storytelling through a cinematic interpretation of a winter-themed poem (shown below). Using original footage and audio, the piece translates written language into a visual narrative driven by pacing, tone, and atmosphere.
The snow around us
knows a romance of its own,
one that dances with nature’s breath.
A lovely earthbound poem.
Challenge: Conveying the emotion and rhythm of the poem without relying heavily on text, instead using visual and audio elements to communicate mood and meaning.
Solution: I created a series of carefully composed shots, focusing on framing and contrast to reinforce the poem’s mood. Through editing, I aligned the visual pacing to the rhythm of the audio, using timing, transitions, and subtle motion to guide the narrative flow. Audio editing and layering further enhanced the atmosphere, resulting in a cohesive piece that demonstrates how motion and film techniques can support emotional storytelling.
